Milton Keynes – about an hours drive straight up the M1

Oxford – a touch over an hour via the M40

Cambridge – take the quickest route via A505 and A1(M)

Reading – head via M25 and M4 for the quickest route

Henley-on-Thames – an hour via the M40

Train

St Albans – only 16 mins on the Thameslink service

Sevenoaks – you’ll have to change trains but worth it to reach the Kent countryside

Bromley – a great shopping High Street in an hour

Gatwick airport – From there the world is your oyster!
