Places within one hour of No.1 Millbrook Park

We all know how well connected we are living in London. We can jump on a bus, tube, tram or train and be wherever we need to be in no time at all. If you fancy getting out and about but don’t want to go too far from home, we’ve done a bit of research into where you could go within an hour’s journey of No.1 Millbrook Park, perfect for a weekend visit especially now warmer months have arrived! Walking 

Royal Air Force Museum – planes and artefacts to peruse at your leisure, for free! Website

Darland’s Lake Nature Reserve – acres of woodland and grasslands to enjoy, perfect for spotting wildlife. Website

 

Cycling

Wembley Stadium – book a tour or splendor at this modern stadium, with lots of shops and restaurants too. Website

Highgate Cemetary – self-guided and walking tours available around this famous cemetery. Website

Hampstead Heath – one of London’s iconic parks with views for miles. Website

Alexandra Palace – Fun for all the family with lots of offer to spend your day here. Website

Victoria & Albert Museum – Spend the day at the worlds leading museum of art and design. Website

Regent’s Park – Another iconic park as well as home to London Zoo. Website

 

Driving

Milton Keynes – about an hours drive straight up the M1

Oxford – a touch over an hour via the M40

Cambridge – take the quickest route via A505 and A1(M)

Reading – head via M25 and M4 for the quickest route

Henley-on-Thames – an hour via the M40

 

Train

St Albans – only 16 mins on the Thameslink service

Sevenoaks – you’ll have to change trains but worth it to reach the Kent countryside

Bromley – a great shopping High Street in an hour

Gatwick airport – From there the world is your oyster!
